Thank you, Pam! I learned so much. Of course, I am not surprised given all that I learn from you in class 😁 The timing of this was perfect as I participated in a session with Louisa Jewell the other night to set my "soul goals" for 2025. My number 1 goal is pretty audacious (and audacity is definitely one of my words for this year) so it would be easy to convince myself that it is crazy and out of reach and not worth trying. But your encouragement to just determine one small step I can take today makes it seem much more attainable. God isn't asking me to accomplish it all right now, just to trust Hi…

Thank you for sharing the insights. I didn't realize that my brain likes to save energy by creating patterns. That makes so much sense as to why some of my habits have been so hard to break. It also makes sense that some of my goals have sat and collected dust. I realize now that I wasn't being specific enough and I wasn't making sure that the felt good to me.

Beth, thank you for sharing this! Isn’t it fascinating how understanding the way our brains work can shine a light on why change feels so challenging sometimes? Recognizing that your brain creates patterns to save energy is such a key insight—it’s the first step to making those patterns work for you instead of against you.

Also, I love your realization about your goals. With this new awareness, you’re in such a great position to set yourself up for success in a way that feels aligned, specific, and doable. I can’t wait to see where this leads you! Keep me posted, Beth—I’m cheering for you! 🚀
