About  Pam Aks, M.S. PCC, RMT

“The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before.”
― Albert Einstein

Hi there, I'm Pam, a recovered follower, people-pleaser, and peacekeeper! Those were my starring roles, and boy, did I rock them! They were like my cozy hiding spots, my excuse for staying in my comfort zone, and the perfect justification for turning into the ultimate helicopter mom.

And I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you those roles came with some seriously wild stories that fueled my inner critic big time! So, instead of being true to myself and going after what I wanted, here's what I did:

  • I pretended to be someone I wasn't just to fit in.

  • I settled for toxic relationships because I didn't think highly enough of myself.

  • I actually believed that little voice in my head, constantly telling me I wasn't good enough to aim high.

  • I clung to jobs that weren't right for me because I lacked confidence in my own abilities.

  • I let other people's expectations and opinions dictate my life's path and actions.

  • I craved approval and cared way too much about what others thought because I didn't trust my own judgment.

  • I drowned my emotions in food and alcohol, leading to high blood pressure and a one-way ticket to almost becoming an alcoholic.

Phew! But here's where the real story starts!

At the tender age of 10,  I embarked on a mission to vanquish the never-ending loop of lousy stories that plagued my imagination. I desperately wanted to understand why I couldn't get my inner critic to stop talking.

Now, hold on tight, because I'm about to spill the beans.

While I'd like to say there was a mind-blowing, earth-shattering event that magically transformed my world overnight. That wouldn't be true.

There were, however some fascinating folks, unexpected situations, and mind-boggling circumstances that gave those tales of mine a negative tinge and had my inner critic screaming even louder.

I know, it's going to sound bonkers, but I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all those life experiences and people that unknowingly played a role in leading me to where I stand today.

Oh, and I can't forget to shower heaps of gratitude upon my first coach, the incredible person who also helped me challenge those stories. Through coaching, I experienced some amazing transformations:

  • I skyrocketed my self-confidence and began to see what was possible

  • I created some powerful tools to turn my inner critic into my inner support person.

  • I finally realized that fitting in with myself is way more important than trying to squeeze into other people's molds.

  • My authentic voice became the loudest one in my head, drowning out all the negative chatter.

  • I became a mentally, emotionally, and physically healthier version of myself.

  • I discovered my #unstoppable determination to make a positive impact and leave behind an empowering legacy. Today, I'm doing work that ignites my soul, work that I'm head over heels in love with, and work that I passionately believe in. It's like finding the perfect ice cream flavor, but way better!

And as a result, since 2005, I've had the incredible privilege of coaching and teaching thousands of individuals, empowering them to cultivate an #unstoppable mindset. They've not only learned to believe in themselves but also in the infinite possibilities that are waiting for them.

In closing, I want you to know something: you were born to show up not only for yourself but also for your dreams and visions. And you have what it takes to embrace your authentic, one-of-a-kind self and start rewriting those lousy stories, flipping "can't" into a resounding "can!"

If you're ready to unleash your #unstoppable can-do spirit and have a blast along the way, get in touch. Trust me, it'll be an adventure you won't want to miss!
