What's Within U: transformational coaching & intuitive readings
I once had a mentor say to me, "Pam, people don't give a sh*t about the letters behind your name. People give a sh*t about the fires you have walked through that are going to help them walk through their own."
Such great advice! And she was right... there's one fire in particular that I lead me to this place. A place that I love and feel so blessed to be in. The place of being able to support others in taking what they want (their dreams) from paper to reality by figuring out their WHY.
THE FIRE THAT CHANGED IT ALL At the age of 36, I was divorced, a single mom with no clear direction in sight. I was living off credit cards to put food on the table and I was severely behind on many of my bills. Feeling like a complete and total failure I found myself having a major meltdown in a restaurant restroom. Tired and desperate I wanted, no I NEEDED something to change. So I did what I thought was the next best step for me. I applied for a student loan and enrolled in graduate school. Surely I was bound to find the answers in a graduate program.
While being an adult learner was a blast, I didn’t gain any more insight into what I wanted to do and here’s why…
I didn’t know my own ‘why’...my values and what made me, me. I was completely disconnected and as a result I continued to chase my own tail, searching for something that was going to get me out of debt and help me to feel like less of a loser.
The Universe must have been really tired of watching me chase my tail ( I know I was) because it put in front of me an opportunity while I was still in my Master's program; a scholarship to enroll in a coach training program. (Thank goodness that the Universe intervened or I'd probably still be walking through the fire of uncertainty and directionless.)
Yep, I took a chance, I enrolled in that coach training program and even hired my own coach. While I thought I was just going to learn how to become an effective coach, what I gained was far more than that. I gained my why!! YES! I finally figured out my own values and what made me tick!
Fast forward to today…
I feel blessed to have gotten off the hamster wheel of uncertainty and directionless. I’m living a life of my own design and doing work in the world that is totally me. Work that I love.
And here’s what I’ve come to know as a result of my journey through that fire...
Every single one of us is meant is live our dreams and it all begins with our WHY!
So my mission is to utilize my why to help others discover their own….so they stop walking through the fire of doing things that don’t fit!
The bottom line; we've got amazing lives and/or businesses to create, ones that fit who we are!
If you've gotten to this point and you're saying to yourself, "She's speaking my language, but I want to know more." I get it!

A few fun factoids ...
I'm a loving partner in an amazing, loving relationship.
I seem to have become a collector of oracle cards, with a few decks of tarot cards thrown in for good measure.
I love music and have sung in the choir and even had a small stint in a garage band. I still sing, but only in the car and shower.
I'm an animal lover. Although, I must admit, I'm not huge fan of reptiles unless it's a lizard.
I'm from the state of great BBQ, Dorothy,Toto, and sunflowers.
I'm a KC Chiefs' fan.
I have a heart and I'm not afraid to share or use it.
I'm a cryer, yep...I've been known to cry during Super Bowl commercials.
I'm a recovering co-dependent realizing that the only person's well-being we are ever really responsible for is our own. (This was a tough fire to walk through!)
I love to listen to others and support them on their journey to find the best solutions for them.
I love presenting to large groups, but am an introvert by nature.
I've quite a few work-related experiences while trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up; a teacher in a classroom setting, a business owner of an internet production company, an independent contractor, co-founder of a non-profit AIDS prevention organization, and an editor. While I've enjoyed all my career choices, none have fit me nearly as well as an intuitive, certified coach, and teacher.
I have a B.A. in Creative Writing which I say gives me to make up words.
I also have a Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. (Try saying that 10 times fast, I dare ya.)
I'm a trained coach, Coaching Out of the Box licensed trainer, and a licensed Corporate Coach U Coaching Clinic Facilitator. I am also a faculty member of CoachInc.com, teaching some of the finest people in the world about the various coaching skills and how to incorporate them into their coaching practices.
